On April 14, 2026, a significant event focusing on legal empowerment for cross-border industrial collaboration was successfully held at Yuan Xu Huen & Partners Alliance Law Firm (Chengdu). The event brought together representatives from chambers of commerce, industry associations, and the legal profession from both Sichuan and New Zealand.
More importantly, the event facilitated the establishment of a strategic partnership between Chinese and New Zealand law firms, providing institutionalized legal support for cross-border industrial cooperation.

Ms. Li is a qualified lawyer in Australia, a Registered Foreign Lawyer (RFL) in Hong Kong, and a Solicitor and Barrister of New Zealand, bringing extensive multi-jurisdictional expertise to cross-border legal practice. Mr. David Chen then introduced New Zealand’s legal environment and regulatory framework, and highly commended the innovative model of Yuan Xu Huen & Partners Alliance Law Firm (Chengdu) as the first mainland–Hong Kong joint venture law firm in Western China.
